A private non-profit art museum founded by the Guanghui Group, one of the world's top 500 enterprises, Guanghui Art Museum will be located in Tianfu New District of Chengdu and is scheduled to open in May 2020. It will feature a collection of precious works by many Chinese ink artists such as Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, Huang Binhong, Xu Beihong, Pan Tianshou, Zhang Daqian, Lin Fengmian, Fu Baoshi, Li Keran, Wu Guanzhong and Shi Lu. The museum is dedicated to the collection, research and exhibition of modern and contemporary Chinese art in efforts to build an influential urban public art museum. It aims to inherit, carry forward, spread and share the achievements of Chinese art and culture, contributing to building China into a cultural power.

Floating Box

Guanghui Art Museum will be located in Tianfu New District of Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Its main design concept originates from the artistic conception and charm of Chinese ink painting, which represents the aesthetic style of the “unity of man and nature”. The museum is like a "floating box" and a long scroll of mountains and rivers, displayed on the rolling green land of Tianfu. Its gentle landscape and concise building blocks are metaphors for Sichuan’s mountains and rivers, as well as the bronze culture unique to Chengdu.
